15th International Meeting on Phytolith Research (IMPR) / III Brazilian Symposium of Archaeobotany

FIRST CIRCULAR
The International Phytolith Society and the Brazilian Archaeobotany Network, together with the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at the University of São Paulo, are glad to welcome you to the 15th IMPR / III SBA! This joint event aims to promote scientific exchanges and present the latest discussions in phytolith research and Brazilian archaeobotany. It will consist of four days of academic activities and an excursion to the Atlantic Forest on day five.
Where/When?
The event will take place at InovaUSP, University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, between 24th and 28th November 2026.
Important dates
The call for abstracts and registration will open on 1st June 2026. More details will be provided in the second circular.
