Board elections 2021 call for nominations
As the 12th International Meeting on Phytolith Research is about to get started, it is time to call for elections for the new board members. In accordance with the IPS Bylaws a new President-Elect, Rand Evett, has been nominated within the current board.
A treasurer (3 year term, renewable) and two Member-at-large board positions (2-year terms) are up for election. Please note that per US law, the treasurer should be based in the United States of America, because the society is registered there. It would be great to have self-nominations to fill up these positions.
We would of course love to have you help us out. Note that you need to be an active society member to be elected to the board. For membership (Regular: $35 per 1 year; Student/Low income country $20 per 1 year) click here !
Please email me, Marta Portillo, the secretary of the IPS, if you should want to be nominated for one of the Member-at-large board position: email@example.com
We accept nominations until 20th September 2021.
We would appreciate to have your input, any suggestions are more than welcome.
With many thanks and best wishes, in the name of the IPS Board,
