Immersion Oil Issue
Dear all,
When I use immersion oil as my mounting medium, whether it's type A or B, I sometimes have an issue where the phytoliths appear to occupy different planes on the slide. This makes counting extremely difficult. I have spoken to a few colleagues about this, and there are some theories as to why this happens. But I wanted to reach out to the wider community to see if anyone have had issues with this, and if they have a way of making slides using oil which tends to negate these issues.
